Fashion and Style are not the same I'd rather have style than be in fashion.

This blog is a scrapbook not a novel and it represents what I have done and will do.

Narrative of the final images.

I put this together as I wanted to show the narrative of the set of final images chosen.
Due to the accessories and makeup being taken from the matchbox/matches colours and the fibre of the wood element that the matcbox/matches is made from.
Our concept is derived from this with a link to how the wood element is about growth. The accessories depict this by how they have been postitioned by the stylist on the model.
The last image of the logs depicts the source of element in its natural state.
Based on a Trend, Tribal is on trend this summer as it has been before. And in a fast becoming eco-friendly world that has crossed over to fashion the accessories in this shoot fit well with the trend.

Final Images.

These are the final Images. They were taken with a flash cord with 2 softboxes. I think they work really well as a set and as a narrative to do with our concept of incorporating the matchbox colours in the makeup and skintone. Also the accessories link to the fibre of the matches as wood. The hairstyles represent in some of the photographs a sense of a flame, this is due to the height of the hair and how it is swept up and over. We really wanted the images to look natural so thats why the makeup is light and hasn't been airbrushed. This is to show imperfect beauty which to me links to our object having one of the matches being broken slightly.

Ecological Idea - Meeting The Elements.

These images were found by Marie in Above magazine. I love the styling in these especially the Crown in the top photo.
